    What is Recovery Mode

    When the iPhone has serious operating problems, a possible and extreme solution is to reset the device. In that case you need the help of Mac / PC to then open iTunes. Just simply connect your iPhone to Mac / PC using the Lightning cable and then open iTunes. Once iTunes detects your iPhone, click on the tab Summary and click Restore.     2. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your Mac / PC.
    3. Connect your iPhone to your Mac / PC.
    4. Launch iTunes.
    5. Force restart your iPhone while connected to the computer by holding down the power and home buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

    # 1. Forced restart

    If yours iPhone is stuck in recovery mode, you don't need to restore it and thus lose your device data. Often a simple forced restart of the iPhone can fix iPhone stuck in recovery mode. To do this, press and hold the power and home buttons for a few seconds until you see the Apple logo on the iPhone screen.

    You can rely on this technique if restoring the iPhone didn't work. Restore iPhone in DFU mode is the last method you can do to try to fix the iPhone stuck in recovery mode.

    Steps to enter DFU mode and restore iPhone

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your Mac / PC.
    2. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
    3. Connect your iPhone to Mac / PC using a Lightning cable.
    4. Enter DFU mode by holding down the power and home buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds. Then, just release the power button, but hold down the home button.
    5. If your iPhone has managed to enter DFU mode, a pop-up message will appear.
    6. Click on "Restore”In the popup message.
    7. iTunes will download the firmware for your iPhone. Let the process complete.
